Scholarship Program

Summer Services
Club members are encouraged to attain
post-secondary education opportunities that
will start them on a successful career path.

The cost of a higher education today could stop many of our young men and women from pursuing their dreams and ambitions. To help our members realize their higher education goals, the Club established a scholarship program with the help of friends of the Boys & Girls Club who recognize the importance of helping our members continue their education.

The Club awards scholarships to Boys & Girls Club members who qualify. Typically more than $30,000 is awarded each year to qualifying Club members with scholarships typically ranging from $500 to $2,500.

Eligibility Club members or Club alumni who have attended the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua for a minimum of one year are eligible to apply. Scholarships are available for attending trade school, technical school, college or university. Students must be in good academic standing and attending an accredited school.

Please fill out the application form to be considered for a scholarship.

Our scholarship application period is now open. All scholarship requests must be submitted on or before April 15, 2011. Incomplete applications may not be accepted.

This excellent program opportunity for our current Club members and alumni would not be possible without our scholarship families. Click here for a list of scholarship donors who have helped the Club make our members' college dreams come true.

You can create scholarships by

  • donating to the Club and designating the donation for scholarships or
  • creating an endowed scholarship fund (minimum endowment is $10,000). You can add to the fund once it has been established and specify the amount to be distributed for scholarships from the endowed fund each year.

Donations can be made in cash, by credit card or by transferring appreciated securities to the Club. For information about creating a scholarship, please contact Bridget Cooley at 603-883-0523 x228 or bcooley@bgcn.com
